Description

A 230 ton sailing ship, originally commissioned as a merchant vessel, in 1787 the Bounty was assigned to the Royal Navy for voyages of exploration. She became famous above all for the mutiny of her crew against her captain, William Bligh.
The Bounty is one of the collection's most beautiful and detailed models.
The reconstruction of this famous ship was made possible thanks to the original designs the British Admiralty still has in its archives.

The kit includes pre-cut keel and frames; double hull planking; deck planking; all fittings in wood and metal; photoetched brass details; sails and flags; detailed instructions and construction plans.

Piani dettagliatissimi ed istruzioni di montaggio complete e particolareggiate. Unico inconveniente è che, avendo comprato questi piani per completare il vecchio Bounty iniziato quasi 30 anni fa e poi purtroppo accantonato ed abbandonato, ho verificato - dopo la costruzione di alcuni particolari - che pur indicando entrambi i piani (quello vecchio Art. 1031 e quello nuovo Art. 1032) la medesima scala 1/60, in effetti quello attuale risulta essere più lungo di circa 10cm! Avrei dovuto verificare prima, ma utilissimi lo stesso!
